Sanagi Island

One of Shiwaku Islands which Sanagi island (pupa island) is an island in Tadotsu-cho, Nakatado-gun, Kagawa, and float in the Seto Inland Sea.

Summary

A population of 146 people, area 1.83km², neighborhood 6.6km. The highest peak is high mountain climbing of 248.52m. The whole area belongs to Tadotsu-cho, Nakatado-gun, Kagawa larger section of a village Sanagi, and, in the village, Nagasaki is in 本浦, the northern part in the southern part. The double grave system called a true grave and the grave with a tombstone remains together 本浦, Nagasaki village, and, in the true grave of Nagasaki, it is said designation [¹] in the tangible folk cultural assets of the prefecture.

History

In addition, the Sanagi high level that played an active part as a patriot of 海援隊 leading Ryoma Sakamoto serves the chief navigator of the Japanese alphabet circle at the time of the Japanese alphabet-maru sinking incident and participates in Nagasaki city magistrate's office occupation case.

I existed as "Sanagi, Nakatado-gun Shimamura" (pupa Shimamura) with uninhabited island, Kojima (I may be transcribed in TV, a book with "おじま", but it is by the pronunciation of islanders in "an island" an island) in the east after the Meiji era, but was admitted into Tadotsu-cho on September 30, 1956.

Water traffic

The access to the Shikoku mainland travels by ferry which 三洋汽船 operates to from Nagasaki Port, the Tadotsu Port of 本浦港経由 (一部本浦港発). I go by way of high Mishima with all flights on the way.

Shimauchi does not have the elementary and junior high school and will go to school of the mainland by sea now (as of 2011, Shimauchi does not have a school child, the student).
