It was 6,973 people, and the population in the 2010 national census decreased 3.6% from 7,233 people of 2000 [1]. County seat is a city of the population maximum in [3], the county that are ラーニド city (a population of 4,054 people [2]).

The Pau knee county forbids alcohol;, in other words, was a county of "dry", but Kansas constitution was revised in 1986, and the inhabitants approved the sale of the alcoholic drinks which an individual enjoyed by a vote of 1992. But there was a limit to 30% of food volumes.
