Summary

I repair a former Gunma Prefectural museum (1978) on July 16 in 1978 and open a Gunma becoming a forerunner Prefectural natural science museum [⁴]. A natural science museum was abolished (1996) on March 31 in 1996, but natural history Museum succeeds a document and starts on April 1, the same year [⁴]. Yoshikazu Hasegawa (the existing honor director) of the paleontologist took office as the first director and was opened on October 22 [⁴].

In the hall, I display a document, a specimen, a photograph about the evolution of culture, a mineral, Homo sapiens and the animal of the earth mainly on natural history display of Gunma. A real thing frame of the kamala Saul's and a moving model of ティランノサウルス of the size of the original, a diorama of the magnificent beech forest are valuable displays in Japan.

I add "the turnip and others culture hall" of the multipurpose hall.
