Douglas head

A career and achievements

The head acquired mathematics and a physical bachelor's degree in Houghton College in 1971. It is Ph.D. of the computer science in Pennsylvania State University in 1976 I acquired (doctorate).

The head is a special honorary professor of the computer sciences in パデュー University of the United States of America and is a professor majoring in electronics and computer engineering in university studies. I am active as the vice-president in charge of the study section in cisco systems during a vacation of パデュー University now [¹].

The head becomes a fellow of ACM from 2000 [²]. When I became a fellow of ACM, "business results of the networking based on the IP (Internet Protocol) which supported the new generation Internet" and "the contribution in the field of a study, education, the implementation in the operating system and the networking" were evaluated [³].

The head led many research projects in conjunction with the construction of the Internet. I write the Internet and many books about the TCP/IP network.
