Change

Originally Ehime Tatsumi Island Senior High School calligraphy club was the shopping mall in the city and developed to the main event of the local festival "Shikoku metropolitan newspaper festival" to music because the thing which I showed as "the demonstration of the book" to write the lyrics was popular with big paper.

Because after broadcasting the design of this calligraphy performance nationwide on TV, I recorded high television ratings, Nippon Television came to hold a meeting called "calligraphy girls Koshien", too. The Ehime Tatsumi Island Senior High School calligraphy club who is also said to be the origin of the high school calligraphy performance at last in a model "calligraphy girls a movie called our Koshien" will be made by Nippon Television.

I increased rapidly at a stretch in 18 schools after a movie was shown, and the meeting participating school which was 3-5 schools/time was narrowed down to 12 by qualifier examination in the third meeting till then. In addition, in anticipation of the audiences of the final contest increasing, the meeting side changed the held place to the Kawanoe gymnasium from the Sakaemachi mall, but it became it since the last prosperity as I overflowed in the people who could not enter the gymnasium on the day and returned. But Kawanoe gymnasium did not have an air conditioner and was changed in an Iyomishima exercise park gymnasium in a meeting place from 2013 that it was not good for meeting holding.

The activity that I began for activation of Shikoku-Chuo-shi of members of Ehime Tatsumi Island Senior High School calligraphy club brought an effect to exceed far expectation, and it followed that, besides, I sparked it until a calligraphy boom in Japan in this way.

Examination method

The recruitment of participating schools begins in about May in an average year, and, video examination, the final contest is practical skill examination, and the qualifier is held. As for the examination announcement of the qualifier, the examination result of the final contest is announced after a performance of the each school in the end of June. The examination method is marking, an evaluation by around five judges, and beauty, the dynamism of beauty and the performance of the book becomes the examination standard.
