大山阿夫利神社 (oh, my, fall as for pitching a camp) Daisen (is alias a Shinto shrine in 雨降山 〈 あふりやま 〉).of Isehara-shi, Kanagawa "Flatter; transcribe it into Taketoshi", and "warm it", and read とも. I attend the prefectural shrine in the old shrine ranking to "Engi era spirit in the principles of Yin and Yang death register" in a small company and one of 13 company in the Engi era type of the listed Sagami country (separate table Shinto shrine of the existing Shinto shrine central government office).

Enshrined deity

I worship high God (Takao Cami) [1] in the great god of thunder (giant squid Tutsi), the previous company in great mountain god Ogami (Matsumi Ooya), the middle shrine deepest-placed shrine in the head office.

But, in the case of gods and Buddha separation, these came to be enshrined after it was the Meiji era, and stone self-importance honorific title of a Japanese god (because Lingshi was enshrined on the mountaintop, I was called in this way) that was an original enshrined deity in the head office in the mixture of Buddhism and Shintoism times before Edo period was worshiped. In addition, in the middle shrine, a small but skilled young knight was worshiped in the deepest-placed shrine by a great long-nosed goblin, the previous company.

History

"大山石尊良辧瀧之図" Kuniyoshi Utagawa (image: 一勇斎) writing brush, 1819-20 years (civil administration 2-3 years). Men going and worshiping at a waterfall of large stone in the mountain holy (existing 大山阿夫利神社).

Oyama is known as an object of mountain worship for a long time and straw-rope patterned pottery said to that I was used for religious service from the mountaintop is found and does it [2]. Because it was said that it was good for Yamagami, and a cloud and fog produced Oyama and often brought rain, "knit it and fell, and called it with a mountain" and was known as an object of praying for rain [2].

It is said that 大山阿夫利神社 was founded according to the company biography by money [3] of the Emperor Sujin. I am listed in the Engi era spirit in the principles of Yin and Yang death register with "阿夫利神社" and rank among the small company.

雨降山大山寺 was erected as Jinguji for Tenbyoshoho era four years by (Christian era 752 years), 良弁, and Acala was worshiped as the man himself. Mixture of Buddhism and Shintoism continues afterward.

Mountaineering asceticism (Daisen mountaineering asceticism) based in Taisanji became popular the Middle Ages later and, including Yoritomo Minamoto, received the veneration of the samurai family including Hojo, Tokugawa.

A scheme (Daisen scheme) to visit was organized in the various places throughout Kanto in the Edo era by us, and many common people visited it. 大山詣 was popular with periods among a black kite in particular and craftsmen by prayer of the exclusion of women to be performed from June 27 to July 17. I did cold water ablutions in Otaki and climbed the stone self-importance honorific title of a Japanese god of the top and put the dummy sword which I brought before the alter and took a dummy sword granted some other time to go as a secret letter with waterfall, 良辧瀧 which was two in Daisen. In addition, because it was said that great mountain god Ogami was father of the tree flower Saya princess told Mount Fuji to become quiet, "両詣 り of Oyama and Mount Fuji became popular, too" and was said to be it saying "you should climb up mule Fuji in up るべし, Oyama in up mule Oyama in Fuji" [2]. In addition, in some areas, there is tradition that it is admitted that I climb Daisen for one portion, and it is indicated that a divine spirit of Oyama was done with God of the success in life [2].

Taisanji that maintained strong power is done for a swallow by a big wave of 廃仏毀釈 which arose taking advantage of gods and Buddha separation law when it is the Meiji era. The designation of "stone haughty honorific title of a Japanese god, Taisanji" was abolished at this time and was renamed to old "阿夫利神社". I do line case in the prefectural shrine in (1873) in 1873.

I did not belong to the Shinto shrine central government office after the war and had been run alone (1952) as 阿夫利神社本庁 from August in 1952, but in late years was affiliated with the Shinto shrine central government office (阿夫利神社本庁 continues, too).
