市轄区 where 平江区 (- く asking for a wall) was located in People's Republic of China Jiangsu Suzhou City. On October 26, 2010, blue sea ward, 平江区, gold 閶 ward merged and was abolished because 姑蘇区 started.
There are Suzhou Station and Suzhou north bus terminal in the Kin So highway of the area. The people government of 姑蘇区 established newly was put here.
