Anna Weber = fan ボッセ (Dutch: for Anna Weber-van Bosse, from March 27, 1852 to January 29, 1942) is a Netherlands algologist.
Brief career history
I was born as the daughter of the merchant in Amsterdam. I married fan cholene (Wilhelm Ferdinand Willink van Collen) of the painter in 1870, but lost it in 1877. I entered the Amsterdam University as one of the first girl students in 1880 and, under botanist, Hugo de fleece and オーデマン, learned. After having learned botany for three years, I chose mainly the field of the seaweed. I married max curl Wilhelm Weber of the zoologist in 1883, and north Norway, Dutch East Indies, an investigation of South Africa traveled together, and, in the next year, a husband participated in ocean study of the Netherlands territory East Indies by シボガ from 1899 through 1900 and was in charge of collection of seaweed. After returning home, I announced many articles about the tropical seaweed which I collected. The alga which I discovered newly has Periphykon, Exophyllum, Chalicostroma, Microphyllum, Corallophila, Aneuria, Etherlia, Perinema, Tapeinodasya, Mesospora, Bryobesia, Tydemania. I helped 137 article writing based on the exploration of the husband.
I studied the specimen which seaweed which British Gardiner (John Stanley Gardiner) collected in Percy Sladen Trust Expedition in 1905 and Belgian Prince Leopold gathered from 1926 through 1929, the specimen which a Danish chi archipelago expeditionary party gathered from 1914 through 1916 afterwards.
I became a member of Netherlands Botanical Society (Nederlandsche Botanische Vereeniging) from 1885 and became honorary membership in 1924. I received a honarary doctorate from the Utrecht University in 1910, and 受勲 did Netherlands Legion of Merit (Offizierskreuz des niederländischen Verdienstordens) in 1935.
