Akira Maeda
Akira Maeda (Maeda autumn and others, 1879 (1879) from January 15 to 1961 (1961) September 9) is a Japanese novelist, translator. 号 is Kijo. The wife is Sumiko Tokunaga of the writer of children's story.
Brief career history
I am born in the Higashiyamanashi-gun, Yamanashi Yawata village (existing Yamanashi-shi). I commit a primary school as Higashiyamanashi-gun government office (Higashiyamanashi-gun government office) waitperson after graduation. I become a member of society out of the Japan in (1891) in 1891 and learn a junior high school course. It becomes the telecommunications technology telegraphic communication life of the Kofu mail telegraphic communication station in the next year and is transferred to the Tokyo mail telegraphic communication station in (1898) in 1898. I go to the nation British society night school and learn. I pass Tokyo technical school (existing Waseda University) high preparatory course in (1900) in 1900. I advance to the department of literature philosophy department, literature department and learn while working as a person in charge of Shitaya police station telegraphic communication. I get to know Shouyou Tsubouchi during attendance at school and send translation to gold port temple "young man world" in (1903) in 1903.
I graduate in (1904) in 1904 and I enter Takafumi Corporation and am engaged in the editing such as "Japan "new ideas" of the activity". It is entered the company by an introduction of Shouyou Tsubouchi in (1906) in 1906 by Hakubunkan. I get to know Utsubo Kubota these days and become a lifelong friend. The naturalism literature magazine "sentence world" where Katai Tayama became an editor in chief in March of the year is launched, and Maeda is engaged in editing of the magazine because Tayama devotes himself/herself to writing. Oneself writes a novel and criticism, too, and Maeda translates it and, other than Edmond de Goncourt "plot" (かんせい), deals with translation of Maupassant and Chekhov. I get married in (1909) in 1909.
I leave Hirofumi Corporation in (1913) in 1913. I act as Director Yomiuri Shimbun woman until (1917) in 1917 from (1915) in 1915. I preside over Venus temple "world literature" in (1924) in 1924 and deal with the juvenile literature including "a boy history of nation story". I establish the anchoress society who is the getting close group of (1925), Jin Kawai, Seiko Nakamura and others and Yamanashi zone cultured people in 1925. The column on literature and arts selector of "Yamanashi Nichi-Nichi Shimbun-sha" serves, too. I become an advisor at Japanese telegram news agency publishing division in (1943) in 1943, and it is Director publication in the next year. I leave the office in (1947) in 1945. I die because of cerebral hemorrhage.
Akira Maeda culture prize establishes it with Seiko Nakamura literary prize in (1987) in 1987 after the death. The document concerned is possessed in Yamanashi folded letter school.
