Air division
An air division (I ask) to the flight division (ひこうしだん, English: Air Division, German: Flieger Division) are one of the military unit organization units in the armed forces. I am equivalent to the division in the army (ground troop). I was used as organization of the air force flight corps, but it was old and was used mainly in the army Airlines corps, navy Airlines corps. It is organized in plural air wings to a flight group.

Air force in the United States
An air division (Air Division) was used in the American air force until 1992 from 1948. It was organization under ordinal aviation forces (NAF) and was constructed by plural air wing (Wing). The divisional commander was almost a brigadier general, but a major general and the colonel were allotted, too.

The basic operational unit organization unit in the Japanese army Airlines corps was flight squadron (FR/F), and a flight corps (FB) of the brigade equivalency, an upper grade corps of this flight corps were flight divisions an upper grade corps. Several flight divisions have a flight group or a flight squadron, the aviation district headquarters (under a servant an airport battalion) or the aviation communication corps headquarters (under a servant aviation communication regiments) where it is independent squadron (Fcs) and the support people of those flights corps.
