Brief career history
Jockey era
I enter it as the jockey training course 14th graduate for Baji Kouen long term in 1963. I become candidate jockey of Tokyo, the Yukio Inaba stable in 1965 and make my debut as a jockey in 1969. There were Yoshiyasu Tajima, Futoshi Kojima, Masahiro Ikegami, eyes field Tetsuya and others other than Tomio Yasuda of the same town in the same period.
Because the riding on horseback of the hurdle race was the center, there was not the activity that was outstanding unlike Yasuda, Tajima, Kojima, Ikegami, but the trust from the animal trainer in the hurdle race was warm and rode a horse for the large races such as Futoshi Nakayama obstacles well.
It is retired in February, 1985 by animal trainer qualification. The results of the jockey era in total were 117 wins including big prize race four wins in total, and, of these, 106 wins equal to about 90% were the victory by the hurdle race.
Animal trainer era
1985 animal trainer qualification. On March 1, 1986, Volvo Shiro of the fourth race became a stable position horse first to go out race on the second Nakayama horse racing third day and raised first ever victory in シャダイハンター of the race on the fifth on the first Niigata horse racing seventh day of May 10, the same year.
The beginning of stable opening of business managed the cherry trees terO which became the legendary excellent horse later. In 1987, I won the 47th Satsuki-Prize Horse Race and the 48th Kikkasho race at the horse and attracted attention. However, the cherry trees terO breaks a bent at the time of the third corner passage by the 32nd Arima memorial horse race guessed most by popularity. Because a condition turned worse in May, 1988, the following day although I sent the long-term days of fight against illness and was not able to stand up, as a result of discussion between the people concerned, decision of the euthanasia disposal was given. Hirai was shocked by euthanasia of these cherry trees terO with considerable sorrow, too.
In addition, activity of the cherry trees terO is evaluated and wins the big prize acquisition animal trainer Prize who is one branch of the stable person concerned commendation in 1987.
I commented for the cherry trees terO which were the child of the cherry tree coypu which tended to be have bad temper in Hirai saying "仔 of the cherry tree coypu was said to be it that a temper was bad, but is a human role whether there is not the thing, and a temper used a combative instinct about a thoroughbred how, "it is bad", and you brought him up".
On December 20, 2011, I retired voluntarily from an animal trainer.
