Origin, person

I refuse joining an organization, and it is entered the company to Okura Industrial though it is appointed the eleventh place in a draft meeting in 1968 by Hankyu Braves.

It was appointed the fourth place in a draft meeting in 1970 two years later by Chunichi Dragons and joined it. As for the uniform number, large pitcher of the same left arm which "24" and Murakami associated with masterpiece "24 eyes" of Sakae Tsuboi whom I worked as on the stage of Shodoshima longed for, "34" of Masaichi Kaneda were prepared for at the time of joining an organization on the middle day, but it is said that Murakami chose "34" without question. Only a curve such as a fast ball and the drop from the form of the overhand throw is a weapon.

It ended in results of only 20 games pitch one win one defeat in seven years without being able to leave the results in the professionals and received off, a discharge notice in 1977.

However, Murakami leaves the name for a professional baseball history in Japan by having pitched for a certain game. Murakami pitched as the starting pitcher for the first game in doubleheader (第 25. last 26 rounds) on the giant performed in Koraku-en Garden baseball stadium on October 14, 1974 when it became the retirement game of giant, Shigeo Nagashima vs. the middle day (the only forerunner professional this), but it has followed that Murakami left the name for history of baseball as "the last pitcher that the home run was hit to Shigeo Nagashima" by having given to Nagashima the home run in the professional pennant race last of 444th namely Nagashima in total in the bottom of the fourth inning [1].
