History
Because Totoku Electric built the factory with the industrial invitation regulations of Ueda-shi of (1960) in Oya, Ueda-shi, the neighborhood between Iwashita station - Oya Station of our line in 1960, I opened it (1961) as a station for commuters in March in 1961 [2]. It was the station which I opened last in Maruko line [1].
Station structure
At the time of the abolition, it was a station having simple system home one 1 line above the ground [2]. There was the home on the southwestern side (towards the Marukocho area the right hand side) of the track [2]. It became the line station which did not have a switch [2].
There was not the station building in an unmanned station [6] from the opening of business, but had Nakamaruko Station and a waiting for place of the big roof of the same type to a home center part [2].
Was in the side-by-side travel section with Japanese National Railways Shinetsu Main Line, and, [2] that a track of Shinetsu Main Line went to immediately in the north [1] of the track of the Maruko line, there were not the homes there [1]; [2]. There was a home signal of electric railroad Oya Station in the neighborhood [2].
Around station
Because it was a Totoku Electric station established for a factory commuter, it was deserted other than one day of the temple fair on 8th of Shinano Kokubunji on a company holiday.
- National highway No. 18
- The Chikuma River
- An arm of a river point with Yoda River -1000 Magarigawa was near.
Station trace
The confirmation became difficult as of (1996) for 1,996 years [7]. The name of "in front of Totoku" remains as a stop name of Chikuma Bus.
It was in the ground for making it it, and became extinct [8], and, as for the track trace to the temple Station trace neighborhood, it was a double track of Shinetsu Main Line in the site of the Shinano Railway Co.,ltd. down line from the neighborhood of electric railroad Oya Station on Azuma Ueda area, 8th [1]; [6].
In addition, the arched bridge in the Maruko line times was reused as a supporting beam of Shinetsu Main Line across the brook of the neighborhood of our station (2007) as of August in 2007 [6]. Was similar (2010) as of October 2010 [1]; [8].
