"Southland" (SouthLAnd) is a TV drama of the United States of America. The human crime suspense drama that described the severe duty and suffering of police officers of the Los Angeles local police department in life-sized reality. Ben Mackenzie plays the uniformed officer of the chief character.

It was broadcasted after NBC, the second season in the first season by TNT. I announced that the NBC was going to start all 13 episodes on September 25, the same year in the second season in 2009 [¹]. However, on August 27, the NBC changed the broadcast starting date by the reason of lack of promotion on October 23 [²]. And, on October 8, the NBC announced the break of the series [³].

On November 2, 2009, the TNT got the right for for seven episodes and second season six episodes in the first season. Broadcast with the TNT began on January 12, 2010 [⁴]; [⁵]. On April 26, 2010, the TNT announced that I started all ten episodes on January 4, 2011 in the third season [⁶]. The production costs were reduced by TNT, and the cast was reduced, too [⁷]. The production of all ten episodes was announced in the fourth season [⁸] and, on March 22, 2011, was started from January 17, 2012 [⁹]. The fifth season was started on February 13, 2013 [¹⁰].

On May 10, 2013, the TNT announced the series end [¹¹]; [¹²].

Aya Sugimoto held a press conference ahead of a delivery start with Benjamin Mackenzie starring on September 15, 2011 in the third season [¹³].

As of 2013, subtitles version can watch Warner on demand in Japan.

As of February, 2016, I can watch 2 on Amazon.com video in 1 and a season in a season (pay).
