Showacho (しょうわまち) is the village which ever existed in the Kimitsu, Chiba county. It is located in the northern part of current Sodegaura-shi. It is the auspicious sign place name (by the way, current Sodegaura-shi is the wide area place name, too). I leave the name in Showa, Sodegaura-shi district, a Sodegaura City elementary school of the Showa era, a Showa junior high school, the store society of the Showa era now.
