I assumed an area equal to the southeastern part of current Shinshiro-shi the range of the village. 7 villages of eight counties merged in (1906) in 1906 and started. The name of a village comes from this. It merged with the neighboring local governments in (1956) in 1956 and became Horaichou and became extinct. Because Horaichou merged with Shinshiro-shi in (2005) in 2005, the whole area is a part of Shinshiro-shi now.

History

9 villages of a Shimodaira village (しもだいらむら), Rokuro shellfish Tsumura (ろくろうかいづむら), Hosokawa village (ほそかわむら), mountain of many hawks' nests village (すやまむら), one item village (complete set irregularity), well charges village (I am, and do it an irregularity) which existed in the Edo era, Notose-mura (のとせむら), name Koshimura (get fat an irregularity), the Amida Buddha's name village (みょうごうむら) are forerunners. It was Shogunate territory [2] and greeted all the Meiji era as Shogunate territory from the Keicho era year of the early period of Edo era.

When the Meiji era begins, the unification of the village is pushed forward, and at first Shimodaira village and Rokuro shellfish Tsumura are complicated in (1875) in 1875, and Mutsudaira-mura (むつだいらむら) starts [2]. A Mutsudaira-mura, Hosokawa village, well charges village, Notose-mura, name Koshimura, Amida Buddha's name village and 7 next (former) villages which added Nomura (Nomura) very much were complicated in (1889) in 1889 when municipality organization was enforced (newly), and 2 villages of a mountain of many hawks' nests village and the one item village were complicated Nomura very much, and high Okamura (Takao or irregularity) started each [2]. However, great Nomura was divided in (1890) in 1890, the following day, and old の 7 village became in condition to be separated again [2]. Great Nomura changes without enforcing town organization, and being complicated after this with all villages, but, in addition, 6 villages of (1906), a Mutsudaira-mura, Hosokawa village, well charges village, Notose-mura, name Koshimura, the Amida Buddha's name village are complicated with high Okamura again in 1906. It is these seven villages on this occasion to have been established [2].

Seven villages changed without a merger for a while, too, but it was a part of neighboring Onocho and Minamishitara hundreder Shino village, Otori next Teramura and merger, Horaichou (1956) on April 1 in 1956 and, in the flow of the great merger of the Showa, became extinct [3].
