"The purple mystery" is the 16th piece single of Hitomi Ishikawa released in February, 1983.

Commentary

• NHK general amateur musical work examination program broadcasted on TV is the musical piece that got an excellent prize for "your melody". Ishikawa sang songs by this program. Susumu Kawagoe of the author was a high school student at the time of application.
• On the occasion of becoming it, a part of the words is changed, and the arrangement is put a record for newly by Masataka Matsutoya. ^[1]
• "The lover of the glass" of the B side is collected in an album "dream design". The arrangement changes on the occasion of becoming it do not receive a single.
