Port Royal (Port Royal) is a center of the shipping trade of the 17th century of Jamaica.
Jamaica was at the midway points such as Panamanian isthmus or Cuba and was at the ideal position for Caribbean trade. The U.K. recaptured the fort of the entrance of the Gulf of Port Royal, and the settlement was performed afterwards by Spain and a fight carried out in 1655 for skirmish of the U.K. Scottish group settled in 1683, but I receive a Spanish surprise attack three years later and evacuate. The Jamaican governor-general approached a Spaniard and disputing バッカニア with domiciliation to Port Royal in 1687 and gave you 私掠免許 [1].
Port Royal got both fame of "the town which was the richest in the world, and was the worst" afterwards. I brought the treasure which バッカニア (pirates) including henLee Morgan and "black beard" [2] (Edward Cheech) took and was the place that was famous by using it. In the 17th century, the U.K. recommended pirates and attacked a Spanish ship and a French ship as a base of pirates in Port Royal.
The earthquake of June 7, 1692 caused serious damage to Port Royal, and two-thirds of the town set in the Caribbean Sea. After this tragic incident, the commercial center is moved in Kingston.
The treasures from China come out of sinking ships, too, and prosperity at the time is elucidated.
I am known by having become the place of the opening of fantasy movie "Pirates of Cali lesbian / cursed pirates" (2003) of the Walt Disney production.
