Plow den Committee

Plow den Committee (plow den いいんかい, another name: aircraft industry investigation committee English: Plowden Committee) was established in December, 1964 by the Harold Wilson Administration of the British Labor Party to investigate the future way of the future plane manufacturing industry. The report was submitted to the assembly in December, 1965 [¹].

Summary

It was a Defense White Paper by the Kan Dan Sandy's (English version) Secretary of Defense of the Conservative Party government announced in the spring of 1957, and substitution, the sea power reduced a large size war vessel by a ballistic missile, an interceptor missile each, and a background and the long distance bomber which did it, the end of the new development of the fighter insisted on a missile almighty theory when they abolished a draft and defended it with occupational military power [¹]. After this report was submitted, the aircraft industry of the U.K. is reorganized again by one body production group and one helicopter maker, one engine production group [¹] and swings in interval of [⁴], the cooperation with the aircraft industry of continent Europe or the cooperation with the American aircraft industry and comes to participate in international joint development including SEPECAT ジャギュア and トーネード IDS and the eurofighter [⁵]. In addition, with the cancellation of the plan, the airline-affiliated engineer who became redundant was detonated by contact in those days by the Japanese Shinkansen and development engaged in the development of the rapid transit railway becoming popular in all parts of the world and was engaged in development of U.K. Japanese National Railways APT-E and diesel promotion-type InterCity 125 which were a U.K. Japanese National Railways class 370 train and gas turbine movement car of the advanced passenger train which was a pendulum type vehicle.
