M-51 field jacket

A cold protection jacket (field jacket) for the winter season of the American ground troops where M-51 field jacket' (British: M-1951 field jacket) has been ever used. It was adopted in the early 1950s and was produced until the early 1960s. It is prescribed in specifications number MIL-C-11448. The official name is COATS, MAN'S, FIELD, OLIVE GREEN 107, M-1951.

I was referred to JACKET,SHELL,FIELD,M-1951 in first edition MIL-J-11448(QMC) on a date on September 13, 1951, but am supposed because specifications number is changed to "MIL-C-11448 Revision A" and the MIL-C- turn in the specifications made version up by a date on March 27, 1953 when a name was changed to a coat at this point in time by a jacket. ^[1]

I succeed the design [²] of the M-43 field jacket, and the appearance affects the system of a series of field jackets to M-65.
