The Keihanna memory park (Keihanna comes, and do not sleep cannot ask) is a city park at 6, Seikadai, Seika-cho, Soraku-gun, Kyoto 1 (multi-purpose park); [3]. "The Keihanna memory park" is a nickname; Kansai Science City memory park Kyoto Prefectural as for the official name. In commemoration of Kansai Science City (Keihanna Science City) construction, I opened Heiankyo removal of the capital 1200 as one of the commemorative projects (1995) again in April in 1995.
It is located in Seika, the Nishikizu district of the core district of the Gakken city, and there are the main facilities of the Gakken cities such as Kansai-kan of the National Diet Library or the Keihanna plaza in the outskirts.

Summary
It was designed under the theme of "harmony with nature" that was an idea of Keihanna Science City. It is the very large park which becomes 24.1ha and is greatly divided into natural maintenance area of 14.1ha and interchange facilities area of 10.1ha. A natural maintenance area is the area that originally keeps the natural forest and Nagatani pond which there was alive, and can enjoy nature, and "lawn open space" "chasm" "Japanese gardens" (waterscape garden) are installed in the interchange nature area for the purpose of the interchange of people. In addition, the image symbol of the park is "a month"; the waterscape garden of a new famous spot of moon and the art object letting aim at it being, and be conscious of "Kangetsukyo" and a month is installed.
Nature of the Mt. village is a beautiful very large park, but nature and the four seasons enjoy it so that it is said with colored leaves, a winter snow scene in spring in sunshine filtering through foliage, the autumn in a cherry tree, the summer and are designed so that Japanese Hara scenery senses it bodily.
