Summary

Kyoto University, Keio University, Tokyo University, Ritsumeikan University, 5 universities of Waseda University established it as a project (2008) for ten years in April in 2009, and a project increased Kyushu University, Tsukuba University, Doshisha University afterwards. There is the headquarters in International Square Center in the Washington D.C. center of commerce. The Japanese office is put in Waseda University.

Purpose

I was established as a place of the studies to apply scientific result in a practical place by a viewpoint that cooperation of a university and the industry was indispensable for the solution to problem that both Japan and the United States faced. The main purpose is gathered to following three points.

  • Practical policy analysis
  • Next-generation personnel training
  • The formation of the community recommending the Japan-U.S. relationship

  • Result dispatch by Japanese and English
