The Hyogo Prefectural library (ひょうごけんりつとしょかん) is the public library which Hyogo establishes as 1 building of the Japanese capital way prefecture Prefectural library.
In the main building location, it is in the building integral with the Akashi municipal library old main building opened at the same time in prefectural Akashi Park (light rocky fort trace) of Akashi-shi not Kobe-shi of the prefectural seat. History
It is the library which I opened (1974) latest for capital way prefectures of the whole country Prefectural library Main Building in October in 1974. I take over what Akashi municipal library moved to and the building which there is in the suburbs of Akashi Park because (2016), the main building become obsolete in 2016 of the same period, and seismic strengthening construction was necessary and do it with the temporary main building, and private enterprise warehouse of Nishi-ku, Kobe-shi is run as a temporary construction library.
