National university corporation Saga University manages it and runs it. It was the name hospital attached to Saga Medical School, but I was changed to the current name after opening of a Diet session of April 1, 1981 on April 1, 2003 by old Saga University and unification of Saga Medical School.
It is the base hospital of the Saga doctor copter (straight hall liking Saga medical center as a cooperation hospital).
