The generic name of the hot spring where Higashi-Dogo Onsenkyo (ひがしどうごおんせんきょう) gushes out around Minamikumemachi, Kitakumemachi of Matsuyama-shi, Ehime (old country Iyo country), hawk ノ child town, Hoshiokamachi, Fukuonjimachi.
There are several places of sources and becomes the hot-spring village. 東道後温泉久米之癒, sky and forest after the way to the east, child hot spring, Himehiko Onsen, 星乃岡温泉 of the hawk are included in this hot-spring village, too.
The hot spring guardian deity is a Shinto shrine after a way to the east.

- I start hot spring digging in Onsen-gun Kume village (existing Minamikumemachi, Matsuyama-shi) in 1941
- I cancel digging construction in an occasion under the wartime though I confirm the gush of the hot spring in September, 1942
- South seas earthquake occurrence, the hot spring which gushed out completely stop in December, 1946
- I reopen the hot spring digging that I tried in prewar days in August, 1962, and a hot spring gushes out
- Well hot spring (the first source) security of November, 1962 Kume
- It is succeeded in April, 1963 by the digging of the east Dogo Onsen second source
- It is succeeded in September, 1963 by the digging of the east Dogo Onsen third source
- It is succeeded in May, 1964 by the digging of the east Dogo Onsen fifth source
- It is succeeded in December, 1964 by the digging of the east Dogo Onsen fourth source
- It is succeeded in May, 1966 by the digging of the east Dogo Onsen sixth source
- It is succeeded in April, 1967 by the digging of the east Dogo Onsen seventh source
- It is succeeded in July, 1968 by the digging of the east Dogo Onsen eighth source
According to the open hot water legend, the hawk ノ child hot spring is considered to be discovery of the propagating Buddhism Great Teacher. But the current hawk ノ child hot spring was developed in 1964;, too, but the hot-spring hotel which used the source was purchased in 2008 by Ono development Co., Ltd. (management mother's body of Himehiko Onsen), and new hotel and warm bath facilities opened it on November 11, 2012.
Access
Iyo RailwayYokogawara Line、Fukuonji Station、Kita-Kume Station、Kume StationGetting off. Transfer, busyness Teraguchi stop get off to Iyo iron bus 10 system Tsuda housing complex Kume Line (four an hour service) at Kume Station to Himehiko Onsen.
