Heavy eye-makeup
Heavy eye-makeup (れんぷ) is making up in the Beijing opera.
It comes from a cause masque, and there are red, white, black, yellow, green in a color, and the part of hero and the part of buffoon or animal put it for a face.
As for the hero (Seki feather, clause feather) and the animal (Sun Wu-K'ung), a thing, the clown who almost cover the front of the face make heavy eye-makeup only on the center of the face.
変臉
