History

Galicia was founded on January 1, 1933 by an emigrant from Galicia, Spain. The founder and the first chairperson were Eduardo Castro デ la Iglesias.

Galicia became the first club which won the championship to カンピオナート by Arno (バイーア state championship) for 3 consecutive years. I achieved four times of championships (in 1937 in 1941 in 1942 1943) from the club foundation for first ten years, and there were five times of runner ups (in 1935 in 1936 in 1938 in 1939 1940). However, it remains only in once of 1968 that a club achieved championship again after having left the bright results early. In addition, for 1,967 years, I am a runner up in 1995 in 1982 in 1980.

The best results in the area leave トルネイロ ノルテ = Nolde of 1969 (Portuguese version), and they are northeast zonal runner ups. Twice of 1981 and 1983 participated in one copy of national championship in Brazil.

In 2001, Galicia was placed as the 54th place in F.C. ranking with famous "plastic Carl" of Brazil.

Stadium

In the early days, Galicia played a game now at a stadium called Campos ダ Glasser that there was not. Move the meeting place of the home match to the large stadium of Salvador after the stadium was demolished; フォンテ NOVA (Portuguese version) played a game once in a while in ピトゥアス (Portuguese version). I have an independent stadium called パルケ Santiago (Portuguese version) (an official name: エスタジオ Santiago デ コンポステーラ) of 2,000 seating capacity now.
