Fukura Port (ふくらこう) is the south end of Awajishima facing Naruto Channel, a local harbor of the Hyogo management [1] in Minami-Awaji-shi, Hyogo.

Summary

The Fukura Port is in the Gulf of Fukura where I got into from Naruto Channel and is a natural good harbor. There is Naruto ferry before the opening to traffic of the large naruto bridge between Muya Port of Naruto-shi, Tokushima, and there was it once at the time when I carried artery of the trucking to bind Shikoku and Hanshin together, but it is used by tourists many as a departure and arrival port of the pleasure boat (watching the tide ship) seeing Naruto Whirlpools now. In addition, there is the function as port of freight and the fishing port, and 入港隻数 of the coastwise service cargo boat that 3,000t is within it by the data of (2008) in 2008 is approximately 270 [2].

The Gulf of Fukura opens out on the east side of Naruto Channel, and the invasion of the tsunami from the Kii water supply caused by the south seas earthquake is expected. History
