The town where Fujisato-machi (I wait when it is wisteria) is located at the north end of Akita.
Geography
It is located in the south side of Shirakami-Sanchi, and Shirakami-Sanchi at the northwest prefectural border of the town is registered with a world heritage, and approximately a quarter (all of Akita sides) of the registration area is in the town area of Fujisato-machi. A town is at the point where Kasuge River and the Fujikoto River of the Yoneshiro River water system join, but there are not a pike and a national highway, the main country path.

The history
- - Fujikoto-mura and Kasuge-mura merged (1955) on March 31 in 1955, and Fujisato-mura was established. The origin of the name of a street put "villages" of bare Hari who was "wisteria" of Fujikoto-mura and a beauty spot of Kasuge-mura together.
- - town organization takes effect (1963) on November 1 in 1963. I establish a town chapter at the same time.

Traffic
