Curl セーデルストレム
Curl セーデルストレム (Carl Cederström, from March 5, 1867 to June 28, 1918) is a Swedish pilot. In May, 1910, I acquired the first pilot license as a Swede.
Life
I was born in the noble house of Stockholm. I wanted to become an actor, but father let you enter the Alnarp agricultural college without permitting it and graduated in 1890. I spent it as an entertainer and a singer over the United States, but came back to Sweden at the end of the 1890s. I was assigned to the work of the farm of father, but I got tired of the work and established the Swedish first car dealer in 1907. I was interested in aviation and, in spring of 1910, proceeded to Paris and learned operation under blurring Rio and I graduated in May and acquired a flight license first as a Swede at that time. I failed in the crossing flight of the エーレ straits on August 24, 1910, but I demonstrated in front of a large audience in Swedish Ladugårdsgärdet at the end of 1910 and flew. I participated in an open flight meet in Ladugårdsgärdet in 1911 and established flying school Skandinaviska Aviatik AB in 1913. I fell in the Orlando Sea and, with pilot Carl Gustaf Krokstedt which he trained on June 28, 1918, died in the middle of a flight to Finland.
A model same as blurring Rio XI which セーデルストレム used was restored and, in August, 2010, flew it in commemoration of the first flight by セーデルストレム in Sweden.
