A county (アムプー) where the チエンコーン county is located in the northeastern part of Chiang Rai in northern Thailand. History
A king called Alija King Wong was dispatched from Nan in cause, 1262 under the hegemony of the Nan kingdom and governed it. According to Chiang Mai chronicle, from 1269 to 70 begin under the hegemony of the ラーンナー dynasty afterwards. [1]

The most of the economic activities in the level are agriculture. But the small trade is carried out because it is a border town with Laos. In addition, there is a wood factory built by a Japanese company in the county. In addition, チエンコーン has the side as the resort that kept nature alive.
