Geography

It is an area of the south side of Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line, Tokyo Metro Fukutoshin Line Senkawa Station - Kanamecho Station and receives Asahigaoka, Nerima-ku in Nagasaki, the west in Nishiikebukuro, the south side on Kanamecho, Mukaihara, Itabashi-ku, the east side in the north side. However, Senkawa Station of the nearest station, each Kanamecho Station become Kanamecho. It is used mainly as a residential area. The one order eyes side contacts with Tokyo way 317 ringed Route 6 (Yamanote Dori), Metropolitan expressway central cyclic Shinjuku Line, and Tokyo way 420 Samezu Oyama line (Senkawa Street) goes to 3, 4.

History

It was admitted into the Tokyo prefecture in some ex-Nagasaki village (1871) from the Urawa prefecture (existing Saitama) in November in 1871. Progress company existed once.
