History

• It is 当仁中学校起工式 (1949) in former Fukuoka girl normal school ruins (現福岡市立南当仁小学校) of - Torikai 2 on January 27 for 1,949 years
• It is April 10 - opening ceremony (1949) for 1,949 years. As for the first grader, 福岡市立当仁小学校, the 2.3 years student use a part of the school building of the Fukuoka City west area of a castle junior high school.
• - new school building is completed (1949) on June 17 in 1949. A student is accommodated by each school.
• I establish - school song (1950) on March 21 in 1950.
• I am destroyed by fire with a part of the school building by the fire that a fire broke out - early in the morning (1950) on November 17 1950. I remain unburned with Shioya branch school and move a second grader in the classroom and reopen.
• I move to 1-29, Shioyacho (4, Torikai, Jonan-ku, Fukuoka-shi existing: west area of a castle junior high school second ground, Fukuoka-shi Board of Education reserve cultural assets section Jonan rearranging rooms) (1956) from - Torikai 2 on July 28 in 1956.
• A part of the school building is flooded by the flood by the dike rip of - Hiigawa (1963) on June 30 in 1963.
• Front school gate is completed as business of the 15th anniversary of - school foundation (1965) on September 21 in 1965.
• It is moved to Fukuhama school building (the existing school building) (1981) on March 27 in 1981 by - Torikai school building.
• I cannot use it because of - Nishikata, Fukuoka offing earthquake (2005) for gymnasium floor damage, approximately one year on March 20 in 2005.
• I am rebuilding - gymnasium (2010) in 2010
• - gymnasium reconstruction is completed in the summer (2011) in 2011

School name

"当仁" is associated with "当仁不譲於師" (it is not necessary to be reserved with a teacher on performing 仁) which is the words of Confucius. ^[1]. The thing of the act that "仁" is the best. From a wish to want to finish oneself as the basis for affection and to love another person.

"当仁" of the principal school reads saying "I do not cast it", but I read 当仁小学校 with "a father person" and am easy to confuse the kanji's way of reading because, on the other hand, I call 南当仁小学校 saying "I do not cast Minami".
