ハドラマウト
ハドラマウト (حضرموت(Hadramawt), Hadhramaut) becomes the Republic of Yemen territory now in one area of South Arabia. I pointed to the area including the ズファール special administrative region (the ズファール district) of Western シャブワ prefecture, the Al = muffler prefecture of the east side and the existing Oman territory historically.

Geography
I occupy the corner of the district of the Arabian Peninsula at the south end and face the Arabian Sea. Oman, the north sandwich Rub'al Khali, and the east is the Saudi Arabian ナジュド district. The topography where deep wadi (or, wow, D: 涸谷) spreads through.
It is in the eastern part of Yemen, and a plateau of an average of 1,370m above sea level to open on the small coastal plain and cliff opens. The north falls down to Rub'al Khali gently. A village is formed around an oasis of the wadi chopping a plateau. Wheat, a date, coconut are cultivated, and a sheep and a goat are kept.
History
ハドラマウト kingdom () (the B.C. from eighth century to third century) of the person from ハドラミ which assumed シバーム a castle town prospered. The kingdom by the Arab existed from the times before Islam, too and prospered as a way station of the trade.
After Islam reception, I was governed by the Imam (Yemeni Imam ) of the Zaydi who was active led by dynasties (ラスール morning) and Yemen which happened in Yemen, but had native カスィーリー kingdom () in the 16th century. クアイティー kingdom () took place more in the 19th century and the ハドラマウト district was divided into the chieftaincy of both kingdoms and was opposed, but I accepted British protection soon with both kingdoms, and it was in the sultanship country of the U.K. protectorate. Wow, Freya Stark travels across ハジャライン, サイウーン and タリーム of D ドアーン from ムカッラー in January, 1935. British explorer John Phil B explores the whole area from 1936 through 1937 and arrives at ancient 主邑 シャブワ. When South Yemen becomes independent in 1967, it becomes part, and it is after north and south Yemen unification of 1990 in the ハドラマウト prefecture (governorate,محافظة).
Inhabitants
ハドラマウト is an area producing a lot of emigrants to India and Southeast Asia, the East Africa historically. Person from ハドラマウト and descendants are called "ハドラミー" (person from ハドラミ) and form an original network. There is various interchange that I included a human thing mark in between the emigrant society of ハドラマウト and the emigration that are a hometown and comes to give the network of such ハドラミー big influence in ring Indian Ocean areas now.
