Breeding
アンヌ Alexander サベ was born as mother in father, Ursula of the black woman in French Pascal サベ in Port-au-Prince of French colony sun = ドマング. I went over to France to learn in a military academy of Paris in 1788. The nickname called ペチョン was named for Jerome ペティヨン de Villeneuve who made the meeting of the black friend.
I returned with the U.K. and sun = ドマング invasion (from 1798 to 1799) in Spain and concluded it with Andre Rigaud, Jean-Pierre ボワイエ and others as Murat and was defeated in so-called knife war against toe sun Louvel Tulle in June, 1799. The Murat military restored power in December and suppressed southern ジャクメル. The commander of the garrison won ペチョン. ジャクメル fell in March, 1800. The leader of ペチョン and Murat took refuge in France.
ペチョン returned to powerful French expeditionary force and sun = ドマング of 12,000 people who led Charles Re Clair with Rigaud and others in 1802. I participated in a secret meeting in Kae Al, and, after the disposal as the traitor to the toe sun, the independent military increased ペチョン in October, 1802 and supported Jean = Jack デサリーヌ where 陥 did ジャクメル once. The capital was secured on October 17, 1803, and independence was declared on January 1, 1804. デサリーヌ became the life governor-general and got the seat of the emperor of October 6, 1804.
Revolution post
After assassination of デサリーヌ of October 17, 1806, ペチョン clashed with Henri Christoph as "an advocate of the republican form of government". Christoph was picked by the President, but did not get along well. The country parted to the north and south, and strain of black and Murat increased. The northern part became the Haitian country and became the Haitian kingdom when Christoph took the throne. ペチョン took office as the President of the southern "Republic of Haiti" by oneself and supported democracy at first, but stopped an assembly in disfavor with the limitation of the assembly in 1818. ペション became a Life President in 1816.
ペチョン accommodated a commercial plantation positively and distributed land between a supporter and a farmer. And Papa Bon-Kè got the nickname called "a kind daddy". The land distribution became the serious blow to the economy of the country, and most people did not perform the thing that was higher than subsistence farming. ペチョン founded ペチョン Senior High School in Port-au-Prince and I protected Simon Bolivar in 1815 and gave material support.
When ペチョン died by yellow fever in 1818, ボワイエ inherited the back.
A portrait of ペチョン is used for a 500 gourdes bill from 2004.
