A la carte
A la carte (Buddha :àla carte[1]) is a dish to order depending on preference from a bill of fare one by one; [2]. In addition, I point to such a meal method [3]. I say a single dish, a la carte dish as Japanese [4].
A visitor chooses a hors d'oeuvre, soup, fish dishes, meat dishes, dessert, a drink individually each and, for a set meal, a course dish (ターブルドート, Buddha: table d'hôte) with several kinds of dishes as a set, orders a la carte beforehand [2].
I distinguish "menu" (menu), the bill of fare of the single dish from "cult" (carte), but I call all "a menu" in Japan and do not distinguish the bill of fare of the set meal in France [5].
I turn from here in Japan and may use expression of "a la carte" about the news pegs that I collected the sketchbooks such as novels and so-called bean knowledge into.
