Career

NagasakiSasebo-shiA native place. I advance to the summer Koshien prefecture qualifier final as a right fielder, leadoff at the age of a second grader in the Nagasaki Prefectural Sasebo technical high school in 1973, but am defeated in higher starfish. I was defeated by a Nagasaki mechanic in the prefecture qualifier semifinals in summer, the following day and did not reach Koshien. I enter Tokai University after graduation and play an active part as an infielder. In the capital University league, I experience all four times of championships in a fall. I am picked by the second Japan and the United States University baseball championship representative from Japan of 1973.

It is entered the company in 1974 by Mitsubishi Motors Kawasaki. I participate in city opposition of 1976 as a reinforcement player of Nippon Kokan and I hit a tie score timely hit in the quarterfinals and play an active part and contribute to championship of the team. I pull a team as director player additional post in 1980 and lead it to the first city opposition participation in 8 years. I pushed up a team in best 4 by city opposition in 1985 when I retired and made exclusive duty for supervision.

When it was only for a season and retired voluntarily in 1989, I acted as a coach of the Japanese Baseball Team in the Atlanta Olympics in 1996. The spot returns to a uniform of Mitsubishi Motors Kawasaki from team circumstances again through a sleeve in the off-season in 1999 and accomplishes first championship by city opposition of 2000 suddenly.

In addition, in 2003, I win 2005 and city opposition and accomplish a great achievement called three times of city opposition conquest in six years and acquire Ono Prize in the meeting of 2005. In addition, in the member of society top nine of the same year, only the past one (Director at Katsuji Kawashima, Yamaha) praised the city opposition conquest of the three times that I could not do, and a prize was conferred in particular.

I was active with a season in 2008, and Mitsubishi Fuso Kawasaki stopped [1] and took office as supervision of the NTT East Japan on January 1, 2009 [2].

A supervision career is responsible for a long time, and the NPB player who was produced while I act as supervision counts 13.

Highlight

It overthrows it and ID baseball

I met Katsuya Nomura in the previous year in the supervision and GM in autumn, and the eyeball of the 74th Intercity Baseball Tournament meet of 2003 was SHiDAX which led Takahiko Nomaguchi and Orestes キンデラン and others. SHiDAX won and advanced to the next around of it smoothly and faced Mitsubishi Fuso Kawasaki who led a fence field in the final (September 2, 2003).

SHiDAX led you in 3-0 in the early stages, but the fence field gave the team an order for 待球作戦 which let you throw the number of many balls to Nomaguchi and waited for a chance. A chance came in seven times, and I sent a pinch hitter when I caught up with a tie score in thyme Lee of main battery, Yasuyuki Saigo at a stretch, and success, this led a first ball squeeze, and it was in a point.

"Revival of FUSO"

For 2,004 years, Mitsubishi Fuso Kawasaki that faced the game in a sleeve did the black lion emblem which was the proof of the Intercity Baseball Tournament championship team to return, and to defeat SHiDAX which burnt in vindication of honor in the JABA Kyoto meeting tripped up in club team by a first match with favorable condition in the last year from the early spring in the final and carried out first championship in the university society. However, in the middle of this meeting, the disgraceful affair around the head office was found out and would restrain themselves from activity though Mitsubishi Fuso Kawasaki was Intercity Baseball Tournament championship team of last year, and players scattered for the correspondence of the recall and the check work of the truck bus in a factory of whole country each place.

An activity self-restraint was removed in a season in 2005, and activity was reopened. Fortunately, among 22 players, all the members came back to the ground except one who quitted it by circumstances of the parents' houses (they object, and, in Mitsubishi Motors Okazaki who restrained himself/herself from activity by a similar disgraceful affair, 14 people including the supervision quit it assuming the play by other teams). I won and advanced to the next around of that the baseball club could do it by overwhelming strength not merely winning and appealed to the company for ふそうの revival, and the fence field did a thing and a thought, the slogan of the team which appealed to the whole country in its turn with "Revival of FUSO" (ふそうの revival).

Intercity Baseball Tournament of the same year, the reinforcement player were engaged well, and it was a combination same as Kanagawa second qualifier first representative jump-off in the final and play with Nissan Motor where it was, but this got out in 6-3 and let you conclude a revival. I comment, "I want to achieve a revival with everybody this time" (the employee), and the fence field will suggest the way of the company team by the hall interview after the game.

Table of contents

Origin, person

In 1985, I am nominated for Yokohama ocean Whales as a pitcher with the sixth place in a draft meeting and join it.

It was the nomination as the pitcher in the draft, but the sense as the fielder was valued just after joining an organization and converted to an infielder. I played baseball and studied in affiliation with United States Texas Rangers rookie grade Butte kappa Kings in 1987. However, it became out of a force in off of 1990 without troop participation without being powerless, and getting a regular in the farm generally.

I shifted the position to the manager of the team and acted as a staff of baseball team afterwards until about 2000.

After Yokohama baseball team dismissal from an organization, I have acted as the staff of the member of society non professional baseball team SOLA Okinawa technical school. I act as the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagle staff (team unification headquarters administration director) now.

A former professional baseball player (infielder, catcher) that Takumi Saito (November 25, 1957 - that Saito asks) is from Sumoto-shi, Hyogo. I hit the right-handed right.

Table of contents

Origin, person

I join ocean Whales from Sumoto business in 1976. I am expected as a large infielder of the heavy blow and carry out getting the start for 49 games as a second baseman, the third baseman mainly in 1981. However, I transferred to LOTTE Orion by a trade with Leon Lee in 1983 without being able to settle in a regular because the class of players of the Mitsuo Motoi, Felix ミヤーン, Tomio Tashiro, Daisuke Yamashita and others infield formation was thick.

I convert to catcher in 1985. There are many conversion examples from catcher to a fielder by professional baseball, but the reverse is an extremely rare case (with examples such as part Hayao, Nobuyoshi Suzuki). I was appointed as copy catcher of Hidetoshi Hakamada, but I put on a starting mask for 20 games in 1986 and get the start for 45 games as a first baseman, a designated hitter. I left batting average .288, the good record of 6 home runs in the same year, but after all defense included a difficulty and recorded a most passed ball a year. I hit 1 home run in 1989, but would record a home run only for the catcher of the team because Yoichi Fukuzawa was over for 0 home runs with Hakamada who put on a starting member mask together mainly (microphone Deer still less participates in this age as catcher).

I move to Orix BlueWave in 1991 and retire afterwards in the same year. I play an active part in Fukuoka Dontaku of a coach (aide 1992 farm team coach, 1993 through 1994 troop battery coach, 1995 through 1998 farm team battery coach) and the Masters League of Orix after a retirement. I participate in Little League lectures. In "Awajishima Uzushio Onsen give birth circle" in Minami-Awaji-shi now near from the hometown duty [1].
