Overview
It was one of the main stations of the Tsukuba Railway Tsukuba Line connecting Ibaraki Prefecture (now ·), which was crowded with tourists as a gateway to the time of sales.
After abolition, the home and the shop were left for a long time, but after being torn down, a resting place of "Tsukuba Rin Lin Road" () using Tsukuba railroad in Tsuchiura's place was established ,,,,,. Although it utilizes the former island style home, it is the end part of the Tsuchiura direction rather than the old railroad crossing, and since it was repaired at the part which was not the riding position of the regular train, there is nothing of the time at that time.
The old station building has been reused asKanto Railway Tsukuba Kita Sales Office, and the bus terminal in front of the station isTsukuba Yamaguchi It continues to be used as of 2014 as the name. See for details.
