Nanumanga Island

Nanumanga Island(Nanumanga) orNanumaga Island (Nanumaga) is an island and atoll of the island, which is also a part of the country. Geography

There are three lagoons on four islands, the biggest lagoon is called Vaiatoa. Mangroves and plants that can grow even under dry conditions are planted. It has an elongated ellipse in the north and south, the northernmost tip is Te Cowpapa, and the southernmost tip is Te Papa cape.

There are two villages in Tonga village (308 people) and Tokelau village (281 people) in the western part of the island.

Constituency

On Nanumanga Island, one of the eight constituencies is allocated to Tuvalu, and two members are elected. In the latest general election in 2010, Monica Rafai and Fareza Pitoi were elected. Pitoi was reelected, while Rafai broke the current Ottiniel Tausi and became the first election.
