Overview
Neue Pinakothek is literally "New Painting Museum" against the same Munich (Old Painting Museum). It was founded by the king to store contemporary paintings of that time, more than ten years after the opening of Arte Pinakotheque.
It collects about 5,000 works from the mid-18th century to the 20th century, especially German modern paintings such as Romantics and Nazarene, and furthermore ,,, etc.
