Joseph Spencer
Joseph Spencer(English: Joseph Spencer, -) is a lawyer, soldier, politician who is from. He became the representative of, and was a general of another.
Spencer was born in East Haddam, Connecticut. Spencer got practiced after attending the lawyer and became a judge. Spencer also worked in the organization and served in. He served as commander of the middle sex civilian soldier.
When the American Revolutionary War began, Spencer was promoted to Associate Commander of the Connecticut Army, led the second Connecticut regiment, and went on to fight in April. When this regiment became part of the Great Army in June, Spencer became brigadier general of the Great Army.
, Spencer was promoted to Major General, and it was decided to assist General in the eastern direction Army. The following year, the military history of Spencer got stained. It was condemned by the Continental Congress because Spencer stopped the attack strategy of the British in the country. Spencer called for a military conference and the result was innocent. However, when the problem settled, Spencer retired.
It was that Spencer first served as a member of the Connecticut Assembly. Liberated from military service, Spencer became the Connecticut representative of the Continental Congress. He returned to Connecticut Council and was in that position until he died.
Spencer has married twice and has 16 children. Spencer died at East Haddam and was buried in Nathan Hale Park of East Haddam.
