I describe 野母崎 as the district of current Nagasaki-shi. The population of 野母崎地区 (長崎市役所野母崎行政 center jurisdiction) 6,004 people (as of the end of June, 2013).
Takahama, Nishisonogi-gun village, Nomo-mura, Wakimisaki-mura, Kabashima village are formed by - municipality organization enforcement (1889) on April 1 in 1889.
Nomo-mura, Wakimisaki-mura, Kabashima village merge with a part of the - Takahama village (1955) on April 1 in 1955 and become Nomozakicho. The remainder of high Hamamura becomes a part of Takashimacho.
With Nagasaki-shi admission of 2005, I carried out name of a street setting. I succeeded an administrative section, and I touched "a town" at the end, and it was said in the same name of a street an old capital letter. (but I change only Kabashima). In addition, I changed a character name at the time of the Nomozakicho merger of 1955.

Nangoshimachi (I do what)
The southwestern part of the district. The west faces Nada, Goto. National highway No. 499 goes along along the shore. A depopulated agriculture fishery another job district. In a district contacting with the west end of the Takahama district, the Nomo district, the scale is relatively small.
Nomo-cho
The southwestern part of the district. I am surrounded by Nada, Goto, Nada, Amakusa except that the east contacts with Wakimisaki, Takahama (Nangoshimachi) at the south end of Nagasaki Peninsula. National highway No. 499 goes in a center of 野母崎地区. I have the role as the coastal fishery base. The facilities such as 市役所野母崎行政 center, 野母崎小学校, the Nomo Sakinaka school Nagasaki University Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences medicinal herb botanical garden form a line. It becomes into a land-tied island form, and houses crowd on the part of the neck. The part of the island becomes the mountain called the honorific title of a Japanese god mountain, and an observation deck is maintained as an honorific title of a Japanese god mountain nature park.
Nomozakikabashimamachi (のもざきかばしま)
It was "Kabashima", but soaked "野母崎" until 2005 because there was Kabashimamachi in the Nagasaki-shi center. It is one town in Kabashima 1 Island floating earlier of the peninsula. It takes Kabashima Ohashi between Wakimisaki-cho and is allied with the mainland. The southeast overlooks agar-agar, Reihoku-machi across Nada, Amakusa, and the northeast overlooks Shimabara Peninsula across Gulf of Tachibana. In a fishery district, it becomes the base of the coastal fishery. Villages crowd along the fishing port in northern town. There is country natural monument オオウナギ habitat. A special product includes empty Sumi.
Wakimisaki-cho (is heated Misaki)
The eastern part of the district. I have long town level to the east and west. Nishibe is the center of the district, and there are fishing port and Wakimisaki beach, and there is relatively much population, too. Nagasaki subtropical zone botanical garden is in the Inoue (is warped) district of the central part. The eastern Kiba district is called cape Kiba for Kiba (riverbank Kiba) and the same name in the Mitsuwacho side across the old town boundary. Because Koba was admitted into the old Takahama elementary school of old China precinct after Nomozakicho start, it is Wakimisaki-cho, but is considered to be Takahama district. In a terminal of National highway No. 499, prefectural road 34 toward the Miwa area runs through a town via Kiba from the center of Wakimisaki.

Shika-machi is located in middle western district of Ishikawa, the northwestern part of the Noto district.
The Noto district is sorted by northern part and Nanbu, and Shika-machi and Nanao-shi vested in Nanbu are next with the northern part with a north boundary line.

When I divide Noto Peninsula into three of "mouth Noto" (くちのと) "Nakanoto" (なかのと) "depths Noto" (with putting it) sequentially from a base to the depths part, I constitute mouth Noto only in old Hakui area (current Shika-machi, Hakui-shi, Hodatsu-Shimizu-cho). Specifically, refer to "the area in the Noto Peninsula # peninsula".
Shika-machi greatly opens out in the Sea of Japan in the west of Noto Peninsula, and, in the north, Wajima-shi, the south are next to Hakui-shi, and the east is next to Toyama Bay which is a gulf of the Sea of Japan widely with Nanao-shi that I opened in the east side of Noto Peninsula.

Yayoi period ：In Togitakata (とぎたかた) of the Tomiku district the formative period of Takada remains [16]. In Tokuda of the Tsuchida district the beginning of 得田氏館跡 (remains of an ancient structure such as pit-type house traces) (there are the remains of an ancient structure of the Burial Mound age, too) in the formative period [15].
Last part of Yayoi period ：The formative period of the remains of モリガフチ where a deer is fired with a deer neck (lend it, and is fired) of Kamo district Yada (rice field, village remains of an ancient structure) [15].
Last years of Yayoi period ：In Higashiomoro (pile Higashi) of 稗造地区 the beginning of remains of Higashiomoro ボガヤチ (remains of an ancient structure such as pit-type house traces) (the remains of an ancient structure continue intermittently until the Muromachi era) in the formative period [15].
The about seventh century ：In Saikaichinoura (さいかいちのうら) of the Saikai district, Futagozuka old burial mound group (Chinoura Futagozuka old burial mound group) is built.
Tenbyoshoho era two years (750 years) ：The details are unclear, and, according to the company biography, it is thought that 冨木八幡宮 (current 冨木八幡神社) was founded in Tomiku district with the foundation of (1217.cf. 1217) for Kenpo five years though I do it [18].

Tensho era 4-5 years (1576-1577 years) ：War-torn country daimyo, Kenshin Uesugi invades and attacks in the Noto country and drops Zhucheng, the halls including our local castle, hall (Tomiku Castle, end Yoshiki, 木尾嶽城 [きおだけじょう], flat maid of honor building [ひらかしきぶやかた]). Noto Hatakeyama is ruined by a fight of the Nanao Castle settled for Tensho era five years. Many main shrines and treasure of a temple, records are destroyed by fire in the high nail mountainsix place shrine (current high nail Shinto shrine) covered with flames of war then, and the six place shrine declines at one time. Similarly 冨木八幡宮 (current 冨木八幡神社) suffers big damage, too and declines at one time.
It is the time (1577) for Tensho era five years ：I launch cleaning business that a person of assistant tayu reclaims Fukuno liman (of blowing.around current Fukuno, Shika-machi) and changes to the fields. The business was continued from generation to generation, and there was 持高 which approached in fact Sengoku in the assistant tayus who became Sengoku farmer, the powerful farmer to be called "a master of the liman" by [32].
Keicho era 13 years (1608) ：Because got a favorable reception when Fukuura-mura resident, 日野資信 (日野長兵衛資信) installs the private lighthouse by the bonfire in the cliff of the weather mountain in hope of the security of the ship navigating Fukuura Minato (Fukuura Port), it is family lore of the Hinos afterward (forerunner of the former Fukuura Lighthouse); [19].
Genroku era five years (1692) ：The Hinos present head of a household builds the stone wall in Fukuura Minato and builds candlestick[* 3] [36] and comes to turn on a candle every night from March to October.
Earlier period of Edo era ：It begins to be done designed garden Heike garden (たいらけていえん) which is pond spring admiration-type [* 4]study garden coming in a house of Heike in now. [37][38]
The middle of Edo era ：In the long dragon temple (Hotoku first year [1449] erection) in the valley shop of the Tsuchida district, the shore of mountain pond Hajime Izumi-type garden which chose foot of a mountain by hand in Tsukiyama of person of Kaga feudal clanorderdesigned garden "駒造 of Noto" is made (long dragon temple garden, designed garden of the alias deer Valley garden); [29].
1899 (1899) ：There is a big fire in Fukuura Port, and around 150 of 180 dwelling houses is reduced to ashes, and a lot of documents documents are destroyed by fire, too [19].

1908 (1908) ：Fukuura is established by the village, and the Fukuura Lighthouse that the Hinos maintained since the foundation of Keicho era 13 years as a private lighthouse for 300 rest of life (former Fukuura Lighthouse) changes [19].
It is October 13 (1943) for 1,943 years ：Seven companies of Hokuriku Railroad, Noto railroad, hot spring electricity orbit, gold Meitetsu way, a metal and stone tools electric railroad, Yuwaku car, seven traffic integrate it with the wartime according to a land transport control law, and, in the middle of Japan-China War, in all stations of Noto Line, it is in a station of Hokuriku Railroad Noto Line.
