The prefectural road 36 Saiki Tsukumi Line (36 much ごうさいきつくみせん which how about not to be good at) is a main country path linking Tsukumi-shi, Oita from Saiki-shi, Oita considerably (general prefectural road).

Summary

I play a role to bypass along the shore of National highway No. 217 running side by side. There are many a sharp curve, steep grades to the 彦岳 tunnel, but the whole line is maintained in 2 traffic lanes and is used for communication of Saiki-shi and Tsukumi-shi. The whole line ran side by side with Higashi Kyushu Expressway, and service of the Saeki Interchange was almost started (2008) in the neighborhood of starting point on June 28 in 2008.
