A monument of World War I in the phosphorus wall road of Gibraltar where the Gibraltar war memorial (- せんそうきねんひ British: Gibraltar War Memorial) is an overseas territory of the U.K. I was called the British war memorial and Spanish Jose Piquet Catoli produced it and was unveiled in 1923. Near this monument in the promenade made in 1921, a cannon made in Russia of 2 gates done 鹵獲 by some amount of memory and Crimean War is put.

History

In the west of the phosphorus wall road of Gibraltar which is foreign countries territory at the south end of the Iberian Peninsula in the Gibraltar war memorial which is called the British war memorial of the U.K. [1] [2] [3]. Jose Piquet Catoli of Spain Barcelona engraved marble of カッラーラ, and produced this monument in celebration of end of World War I [3]; [4]. And, by a ceremony held on September 27, 1923, Governor-General of Gibraltar Charles Sir Monroe (from 1860 to 1929) wants to unveil it [3]; [4] [5]. It is engraved into an epitaph in this way. "The Great War [6] in memory of all officers and sailors of the Strait of Gibraltar patrol that sacrificed a life for King and a country."

The place with this monument becomes a promenade and the stairs and hits John Macintosh square and the west of the city hall that advocated the amount of some memory. It is carved to the amount of a certain memory in this way: It is ticked away to the amount of different memory that "the amount of this 1914-1918 memory was given to Gibraltar and heroes of the straits patrol by a Gibraltar person (ジブラルタリアン) association resident in Argentina." in this way [6]:

In this promenade and stairs, conch shells Lockwood Smith durian (English version) general His Highness G.C.B., G.C.M.G., D.S.O. (English version) was built under the rule in 1921. Of His Highness having been considered as for these by the happiness of people of Gibraltar become commemorative.

The Smith = durian (from 1858 to 1930) acted as Governor-General of Gibraltar from 1918 through 1923 [7]; [8] [9]. He built a promenade and the stairs along a phosphorus wall road for Gibraltar resident in 1921 [4]. It is engraved into the third commemorative frame in this way [6]:

During from 1940 to 1944, I shelter Belgians from the continent occupied by an enemy and, for sympathy and the understanding that I sent off to a joint struggle for freedom, express the will of deep thanks, and Belgium gives the amount of this memory to the fortress of Gibraltar. July 21, 1945

Near the monument, is put 2 gates a cannon made in Russia which performed 鹵獲 during Crimean War (from 1854 to 1856) [3]; [6] [10]. It is engraved into an epigraph in this way: The cannon of 4 gates which it "was done 鹵獲 as for the cannon made in Russia of these 4 gates in Crimea for from 1854 to 1856, and was handed over to Gibraltar in 1858 by the British Government." was handed over to Gibraltar as the preparation of the war in 1858. 2 gates are put at the entrance of the Alameda garden among them [3]; [11] [12].

The ASB classical music (ASB Classic) is WTA tour tournament meeting held in "ASB bank tennis center" of New Zealand Oakland in the first week in January every year. It is one of the opening game of the WTA tour. I unify the Heineken opening of the boy started in 2016 in the next week.
