Gym sniper
The aerial weapon that the gym sniper (GM SNIPER) appears for "the Gundam series." Manned operation-type humanoid robot weapon「モビルスーツOne of (MS).
A long distance snipe type of the mass production type MS "gym" of earth Federales which is one of the appearance power in a product. "A gym sniper custom" set for MS with the name of "the gym sniper" in "モビルスーツバリエーション (MSV)" which is a plastic model sales promotion plan of TV animated cartoon "Mobile Suit Gundam" is naive, and a body having the name of the gym sniper appears even in the following work. "MSV" And I appear to TV animated cartoon "mobile suit Ζ Gundam". I was referred to gym 重装型 sniper custom with the early document [1]. The mechanic design is Kunio Ogawara. A game comes up in "the bond of the Mobile Suit Gundam battlefield".
I put it together, and, with a custom machine of the gym for Pilot ace like the sniper custom, a tune is done individually by a pilot. It is come up by mechanic design plan "MSV-R".
One of the variation machines of the gym made a custom exclusively for Pilot ace. It is for fleet defense, but puts the principal objective for heat and the mobility reinforcement as an interceptor in contrast with the guard custom that strengthened a defence as well as a guard custom. As a characteristic, the main body itself is summarized in standard, but changes the specifications to the back assuming the equipment of the 追加兵装 unit "feh low booster". OVA『Mobile Suit Gundam 第 08MS platoonIt is come up by ". The mechanic design is Kunio Ogawara. The design of the rifle depends on a hand of the Yamane common good.

OVA comes up for "the war in the Mobile Suit Gundam 0080 pocket". The mechanic design is 出渕裕.

Armed (sniper II)
Our plane has high versatility, too and can use armament of most Federales MS at the time of the war for one year. With the gym command, a bulldog cataplasm machine gun, the beam saber, a curved surface model shield are common.
I refer to land combat type Gundam # armament for land combat type Gundam and common beam weapon, a 100mm machine gun, the rocket launcher.
- 75mm sniper rifle [12]
- A live cartridge rifle (recoilless cannon [11]) that Moselle bolt action rifle "Kar98k" was developed for the cause. The developer is setting called the Germans. Because the diameter converted a 75mm gun of the army not expansion of original 7.92mm, it becomes the 75mm gun. I used a fluid bursting charge [11] and charged five clipped as well as Kar98k by a box magazine of the central part. Standard features include 10*350 (object lens diameter) electric site and are connected in trigger with a computer of gym sniper II and boast of a high hit rate. 運用コンセプトとしては、後方の敵指揮官機や戦艦を一撃で沈めることで、戦闘を早期終了させるために用いられる。 プラモデルのステンシルには、「ZIONIC」の文字とジオン軍マークが確認できる。 ボルトアクション式ゆえに次弾装填で時間を要するために迎撃や近接戦闘には不向きであり、通常の出撃ではビームライフルなどの予備火器を携帯する。
- なお、本機専用の装備というわけではなく、精密射撃を行わないのであれば一般機においても近距離から中距離までの無反動砲として利用できる[11]。
- 『0080』発表当時にデザインそのものは存在したが、作中では登場しなかった装備である。後発のゲーム『SDガンダム GGENERATION』シリーズや『ギレンの野望』シリーズなどに登場する。
- 長らくビームであったり実弾であったりと、その設定が曖昧だったが、『マスターアーカイブ モビルスーツ ジム』ではフランツ社で開発された75mmの実弾式狙撃ライフルとされている。
- Long range beam weapon
- ジム・スナイパーと同型の大型ビーム・ライフル。2000年に発売されたPS2専用ゲーム『機動戦士ガンダム』にてホワイト・ディンゴ隊仕様機の装備として登場して以降、『機動戦士ガンダム戦記 Lost War Chronicles』[13]などの後発のゲームや模型でもロングレンジ・ビーム・ライフル装備機の登場機会は多い。『ガンダム戦記』の漫画版では、連続使用には機体を外部電源機器に接続する必要があり、冷却剤とエネルギーパックなしでの発射は1回のみとなっている。
- 漫画『機動戦士ガンダム オレら連邦愚連隊』に登場したネメシス隊所属の「エイプ」ことジャン・ディベビエ機も同型のライフルを使用しており、こちらはチャージにある程度の時間を要するが、連続での使用が可能とされている。
- ビーム・ライフル (XBR-M-79S)
- 対MS戦において携帯する。後のMSN-00100 百式が使用したものと同じ外見のXBR-M-79Sを使用した[12]。末尾のSは「スナイパー (Sniper)」ではなく、「スネイルタイプ (Snail type)」E-CAPの意である[14]。このライフルを装備した機体は雑誌『ガンダムエース』2005年10月号の『GAME'S MSV』#35に掲載されたリド・ウォルフ専用機の装備でのみ使用が確認されているが、開発されたのは一年戦争後（本来の正式名称は「BR-M-87（M87ビームライフル）」、0087年ロールアウト）であることなどから、一年戦争時での運用は矛盾するという指摘もある[誰によって?]。
- ビーム・ライフル (XBR-M-79E)
- 陸戦型ガンダムが使用したものと同型のビームライフルを装備した機体は、ゲームおよび小説『機動戦士ガンダム コロニーの落ちた地で…』に登場する。
- バルカン砲
- 当機の頭部に60mmバルカン砲は内蔵されていないが、『機動戦士ガンダム コロニーの落ちた地で…』のホワイト・ディンゴ隊仕様機は、右側頭部にパック方式のバルカン砲を追加装備している。他にも『ガンダム戦記』などの地上を舞台としたゲーム作品でも装備した機体は多く、カードビルダーではホワイトディンゴ隊以外の機体も装備している。
- ミドル・シールド[15]
- 『機動戦士ガンダム コロニーの落ちた地で…』のホワイト・ディンゴ隊が装備。陸戦型ガンダムの小型シールドの上に、下半分にしたジムのシールドを重ねている。

- 赤と白のツートンカラーで塗られた機体。『0080』に1シーンのみ登場する。
- ホワイト・ディンゴ隊仕様機
- オーストラリアで活躍した特殊MS小隊「ホワイト・ディンゴ隊」の機体はパーソナルカラーである明灰色・暗灰色に塗り分けられていたが、本機においては胸部や爪先が青、頭部や四肢が白のツートンカラーで塗装されている。肩にはホワイト・ディンゴ隊由来のディンゴのマークがあしらわれており、装備にも変更がみられる。
- リド・ウォルフ機
- 連邦軍のエース「踊る黒い死神」ことリド・ウォルフ少佐が最後に使用した機体としても有名である。色は黒と灰色のツートンカラーか、黒と白色のツートンカラーで描かれることが多い。
- グリーンのタイガー・ストライプ迷彩機
- 書籍『MS ERA 0001〜0080 ガンダム戦場写真集』に登場した機体。森林の中、ネットなどによってカモフラージュされている。時期は宇宙世紀0079年10月とされている[16]。装備しているライフルは作画を担当したアニメーター、岩滝智によるオリジナルデザインである[17]。
- ネメシス隊仕様機
- 『オレら連邦愚連隊』に登場。ネメシス隊特有のダークブルーを基調としたカラーリングが施されている。パイロットはディベビエ。
劇中での活躍
連邦軍の強襲揚陸艦グレイファントム所属「スカーレット隊」に配備された。これはサイド6周辺での度重なる戦闘が問題になり、戦闘の早期決着が求められたためである[12]。サイド6「リボー」コロニー内に現れたジオン軍サイクロプス隊のMS-18E ケンプファーの迎撃に、当機4機と量産型ガンキャノン2機がジム・コマンドと共通のブルパップ・マシンガンを装備して出撃するが、高性能を発揮する間もなく全滅した。劇中ではアップに映るブルーグレーの機体以外に、後方にはRGM-79G（コロニー内仕様）と同パターンのカラーリングの機体も登場した[18]。
映像作品での活躍は上記のみだが、後に『機動戦士ガンダム ギレンの野望』などゲーム作品にて、高性能量産機として位置付けされるようになった。
- ゲーム『機動戦士ガンダム外伝 コロニーの落ちた地で…』
- ホワイト・ディンゴ隊機が登場。ジオン軍のHLV発進を阻止する緊急特別任務に際し、ジャブロー基地でロールアウトして間もない当機が急遽ホワイト・ディンゴ隊へ届けられ、陸戦型ゲルググや地上用モビルアーマー・ライノサラスと交戦した。小説版では小隊長レイヤー中尉機のみビームライフルを装備し、部下2機は100㎜マシンガンを装備していた。
- 漫画『機動戦士ガンダム戦記 Lost War Chronicles』
- MS特殊部隊第3小隊へ1機配備され、射撃戦を得意とするラリー・ラドリー少尉が搭乗する。ジャブロー防衛戦の際にはロングレンジビームライフルによる狙撃任務に携わったが、隊長であるマット・ヒーリィ中尉の判断ミスによりザクIIの攻撃がコクピットに被弾し、機体は小破で済んだもののラリー少尉は戦死した。修理後は同僚のアニッシュ・ロフマン曹長が搭乗し、100㎜マシンガンを装備して作戦に復帰している。

雑誌企画『ADVANCE OF Ζ ティターンズの旗のもとに』に登場。
ジムIIのティターンズにおける評価試験のために作られたジム改高機動型を狙撃仕様にカスタマイズしたもの。主な変更点は増設バイザー（ジム・スナイパーIIのバイザー・センサーの強化版）、ロングレンジ・ビーム・ライフル（ベースはガンダムTR-1 ヘイズルのビームライフル、XBR-M84a）[19]。
- ジム・スナイパーIII 高機動型
- ハイザック・カスタムの装備となる大型ランドセル、及びビームランチャー、後のジムIIIの足の追加スラスターを装備に改修。バックパック部や武装などにおいて、ハイザックタイプMSとの互換性が図られている。

ジム狙撃兵
ホビージャパン刊行の書籍『GUNDAM GAMES TACTICS別冊』に登場[20]（型式番号：RGM-79）。
一年戦争中に運用されたジムの狙撃仕様。全身にカモフラージュが施されており、タイガーストライプの迷彩塗装のほか、胴体上部に擬装ネットや木の枝が被せられ、頭部にはゴーグル型センサーの反射光を抑えるための装甲バイザーを装備している。武装はビームスナイパーライフルで、こちらもバレルに迷彩目的のテープが巻き付けられている。第五航空軍MS兵団に配備され、東南アジア方面で戦闘に参加した。
ジム・スナイパー,EX
漫画『機動戦士VS伝説巨神 逆襲のギガンティス』に登場。
背中に装備されている大型のバーニアが特徴的な機体。超大型MS調査のために木星空域へ派遣された。連邦軍屈指のニュータイプであるシマ・八丈と鉄面皮が搭乗し、アムロ・レイとジュドー・アーシタが乗るメガゼータの援護や巨神のデータ分析を行う。
