Graduated from March 1959 (Showa 34).
1993 (Heisei 3) June 30, (Head office: Hakui city) left the company. He was elected the first election in the same year's Hakui city council election. He served as chairman from March 24, 2004 to February 22, 2005 (Heisei 17).
2008 (2008) September 26 resigned from the city council. It was elected first in Hakui Mayor 's election in October of the same year. On November 1, assumed office as mayor. It is the third term now.
