Overview

The predecessor Sony Chemical was listed on TSE 2, but since it was implemented in January it became a wholly owned subsidiary and was delisted. Sony merged with Sony Miyagi as a surviving company, Sony Chemical Changed company name to & Information Device Co., Ltd. . Along with the withdrawal from the Sony group, changed to the current company name in September. Dexerials is a coined word () combining dexterous and materials.

History

  • 1962 (Showa 37) March 5, established Sony Chemical.
  • Listed on the second part of the market in July 1987 (Showa 62).
  • Established in 1990 (Heisei 2) November, Sony Roh.
  • Deleted Sony Chemical on December 28, 1999 (Heisei 11).
  • By January 2000 (2000), Sony Chemical will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Sony.
  • 2000 (Heisei 12) April, founded Sony Miyagi.
  • In 2002 (Heisei 14) April, Sony Negami absorbed and merged. To Negami business office of Sony Chemical.
  • In 2006 (2006), Sony Chemical absorbed Sony Miyagi and merged into Sony Chemical & Information Device.
  • In 2012 (September 2012), Sony Chemical & Information Device became a wholly owned subsidiary of VG Chemical, a holding company affiliated with the fund funded by Japan Policy Bank and Investment Fund of Unison Capital Group, Company name changed to Dexerials.
  • In March 2013, VG Chemical absorbed (former) Dexerials and changed its name to Dexerials.
  • Re-listed on the first section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange on July 29, 2015 (Heisei 20).
