• (5 years) December 3 - No. 2 Elementary School opened, renamed Shakuto Elementary School later.
• (Meiji 6) January 10 - No. 10 elementary school opening, later Hasei, Tachikawa, Shishi elementary school.
• (Meiji 20) March - Merger between Shude elementary school and Yoshimata elementary school, open as called Asahi Junior Elementary School.
• (Meiji 25) December - Renamed Elementary School as Soshin Vocational Elementary School.
