History

Originally Kiyatake Kazuya, it was called "Kiyame" in old days. After transferring to Shimajiri gun by the county district system of the island, it became Mizunmen village in the island town and village system in 1908. The main industry is agriculture.

So Munenmojin became the last battlefield, with only about 1,200 victims even villagers, about half of the villagers' mouths. Because of this, the population has been halved and it is difficult to recover as it is by the village as it is. As a result, on April 1, 1946, it merged with Mabu Village and Mizunin Village, which was adjacent, and Sanwa Village disappeared. The village hall became Sanwa Village Kiyatake branch.

After that, Sanwa Village merged with (now Itoman City, Itoman) · … it disappeared in only 15 years. In addition, the municipal enforcement came into effect, and it became Itoman City.
