Higaakitani Station

Higaakitani Station (Episode) is one of the (JNR) which was once in Akatani. It was abolished in connection with the abolition of Akaya line (Showa 59). It was the only terminal station in the national rail at that time.

Station structure

The train from Akatani switched back and entered the station premises was a strange station structure. This is because there was a steep gradient of 33 ‰. Passengers are island style 1 side 2 lines.
